Founder of Hilal Welfare Trust (HWT), Hamdard Education  Society (HES) and Masjid – E – Masroor was a versatile scholar, educationist and a great social reformer. Prof  was known for his Simplicity, Dedication and for thought. He was associated with the following:

• Yuvaraja's College, University of Mysore as Prof & HOD of Chemistry.

• College Development Council, University of Mysore, as Director.

• State Minority Commission, Govt. of Karnataka, as member.

• Muslim Hostel, Saraswathipuram, Mysore, as governing council member.

• Muslim Co-operative Bank Ltd, Mysore, as Director.

• United Minority Credit Co-Operative Society, Mysore, as Founder Director.
